The Lagos State Government is planning to begin the commercial production of biogas and bio-methane as part of efforts to reduce dependence on imported fuel and promote a cleaner environment. To achieve this, the State has set up a Technical Committee made up of different Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) says 1,959,636 candidates from 24,207 schools are sitting for the ongoing 2026 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for school candidates.
