The developers of the 16 Alexander Tower in Ikoyi, Lagos, have assured prospective investors and residents of the project’s structural integrity, safety and timely delivery, with completion scheduled for the end of December, next year.
The assurance was given during an official facility tour and press briefing organized for members of the Property and Environment Writers Association of Nigeria (PEWAN) led by the Chairman, Okey Iroegbu-Chikezie, at the project site.
Speaking on behalf of the developer, the project’s Marketing and Real Estate Consultant, Doctor Mecson Okoro, said the engagement was aimed at promoting transparency, building public confidence and demonstrating that the high-rise development is being executed in line with global construction standards.
According to him, the developer deliberately invited journalists and other stakeholders to inspect the project which is under construction to verify the quality of work and ensure public confidence in the investment.
Okoro stressed that the project places premium importance on structural stability, safety and long-term investment value, noting that the developer engaged reputable firms with proven experience in high-rise construction from the outset.
He identified Trevi Foundations as the main contractor, Baron Architecture as the lead architectural firm, Trevi Foundations as the piling contractor, while Lambert Electronics Ltd is handling the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services.
According to him, “When this type of High-Rise property is being developed, it is not just for the promoter or developer of the Project, the interest of the general public and other stakeholders must be considered even at piling and foundational stages.”
“That is why our principal and Chairman of the Tower under reference has made the right choice of both main and sub-contractors from day one so that by the time the Property is fully developed and occupied, everyone in the Tower would sleep with his/her two eyes closed as much as possible,” he said.
The Consultant popular known as M.I Okoro said the tower currently stands at the 17th floor, with four more floors remaining to complete the 21-storey development.
He said the luxury residential tower sits on a 4,276.216-square-metre site and has been designed to maximise space while providing adequate circulation within the premises.
Okoro said the development would feature premium amenities including a wellness and recreation clubhouse, infinity swimming pool, modern gymnasium, sauna and spa, squash court, yoga and meditation area, 24-hour concierge and security services, panoramic city views and dedicated parking spaces for residents and visitors.
He noted that the recreational facilities would be located on the sixth floor to provide privacy and exclusive access for residents and their accredited guests.
Describing the project as a premium investment opportunity, Okoro expressed confidence that the combination of quality construction, strategic location and luxury amenities would guarantee strong rental value and long-term returns for investors.
