Lagos State Executive Council members are set to render accounts of stewardship of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Obafemi Hamzat administration in the last one year.
In a statement, the Commissioner Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, says the state government is organising a month-long Ministerial Press Briefing commencing on Monday, 11th of May, 2026.
He says the annual event provides an important platform for Ministries, Departments and Agencies to present to the good people of Lagos State in Facts and Figures the achievements of the present administration across various developmental pillars of the THEMES+ Agenda.
According to the Commissioner, “It is an opportunity to engage with Lagosians on the bold efforts at improving the welfare of all”
“This year’s edition is particularly significant as it precedes the general elections”, He said.
He says the exercise will enable the public to assess the performance of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu/Obafemi Hamzat administration, appreciate the milestones recorded and get an insight into the plans for a Greater Lagos.
Besides, he states that the media engagement will further help the citizens to understand the administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability and inclusive governance.
